Welcome to Forest Homes (Kent) Limited

Our Story

Forest Homes is owned by Tony and Louisa Warman. Tony began his career in construction as an apprentice carpenter for a Folkestone based company, Jenner Contractors.

Recognising Tony's potential, Jenners sponsored him through a comprehensive training after which he progressed to site managing large projects.

One of the last projects Tony completed for Jenners was a large housing project for Saxon Developments, a subsidiary of Blue Circle Plc. At this time, Saxon were in the process of establishing their own in-house project management team and approached Tony to be part of this, specifically to manage their flagship development of over 300 houses in Halling, Kent.

Over a period of 10 years and as Saxon expanded, Tony's role developed to Building Manager culminating in his appointment as Construction Director.

After several interesting and challenging years in this role, Tony was keen to explore his long-held ambition of establishing his own house building company and founded Forest Homes with his wife Louisa, herself a veteran of Saxon Homes.

Their vision was to build traditional, aesthetically pleasing, family-friendly homes in their corner of Kent.
